What You’ll Do in This Role:
As part of our housekeeping team, you will play an important role in keeping our residents’ rooms, recreational areas, offices, and hallways spotless. Every day, you'll contribute to a warm, safe, and comfortable environment for everyone we serve.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative items.
- Vacuum and mop floors, carpets, and rugs.
- Cleans resident's rooms, recreational areas, offices, and hallways as assigned.
- Change bed linens and make beds according to established standards.
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Clean and disinfect kitchen surfaces, appliances, and utensils.
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products.
- Organize and maintain storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment.
✅ What You’ll Need:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Previous experience as a housekeeper or cleaner in a long-term care facility or medical environment
- Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance
