Overview
We are seeking an experienced Agency Multifamily Loan Originator. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in multifamily origination, specifically focused on agency execution. This is a market-facing role and will be instrumental in sourcing multifamily lending opportunities, managing relationships with clients and stakeholders and assisting with loan processing and execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing Opportunities: Identify and pursue multifamily lending opportunities that align with BXMT's agency lending strategy.
- Execution: Partnering with BREDS to deliver market-leading agency lending services.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and industry partners to drive production and enhance business development efforts.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting multifamily lending to effectively position BXMT's offerings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including underwriting and operations, to ensure a smooth loan processing experience for clients.
- Production Goals: Meet or exceed production targets and contribute to the overall growth of the agency lending portfolio.
- Travel may be required to meet with clients and industry partners.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in multifamily origination with a focus on agency execution.
- Proven track record of sourcing and closing multifamily loans in a competitive market.
- Strong understanding of the DUS lending framework and agency guidelines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
