What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager Regulatory Affairs position at Briogeo Hair Care?
The Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs leads global compliance and registrations for the brand. This role is responsible for limiting risk exposure, building brand equity, ensuring product safety, and championing sustainability initiatives.
Roles Responsibilities
- Oversee the global registration processes to ensure all products are compliant and registered in each global market on time for desired launch date
- Collaborate with marketing product development on desired claims and positioning, create protocols and negotiate costs with testing vendors, organize execute all clinical and consumer testing to support product launches, and finalize consumer facing claims with legal council before releasing for organizational use
- Manage Regulatory budget; testing claims, international and brand corporate spend
- Organize and communicate product safety testing; micro, stability, and compatibility testing; elevating risks associated with condensed launch timelines, where applicable
- Manage technical information for product dossiers
- Ensure all regulatory label claim information on artwork is accurate (inc. naturally derived percentage, ILs, caution statements, third party certifications)
- Stay abreast of global regulatory legislation and proactively implement for the brand
- Track and manage formula ownership status ensuring IP protection for brand.
- Sustainability Task Force lead ensuring sustainability measures are met set by parent company, retailers, and brand
- Provide customer service support on all regulatory related inquiries
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 7 years global regulatory affairs experience
- Strong background in international regulations and registration requirements
- Knowledge and pulse on cosmetic regulation
- Detail oriented, highly organized and motivated compliance professional

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $112,000 - $120,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
