We are introducing the BrioVAD LVAS to Heart Failure clinicians for use with the large number of indicated and untreated patients who could benefit from chronic mechanical circulatory support. The initiation of our INNOVATE™ Trial in the US is only the beginning. We are building a team to develop advanced technology intended to further improve patient outcomes, increase therapy acceptance, and enabling chronic MCS therapy to be accessible to more patients across the globe.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Consultant with a strong background in ventricular assist devices (VADs) to deliver impactful training, enhance customer satisfaction, and provide outstanding support. In this role, you will be responsible for educating nurses, surgeons, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals on the proper use and best practices for VADs. The position requires up to 50% travel to customer sites and occasional coverage of our 24/7 support line. The ideal candidate will bring expert knowledge of VADs, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support to our clients.
Responsibilities
• Be the primary contact for clinical issues in assigned territory.
• Train healthcare professionals on BrioHealth's VADs per IFU and educational materials.
• Develop tailored training programs for hospital staff.
• Provide on-site support during device implantation and collaborate with teams for seamless customer experience.
• Support tradeshows as needed.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
• Contribute to training material development with the Training and Education team.
• Maintain and protect confidential information from company and patients.
• Collect customer feedback for product and training improvement.
• Stay current on industry trends, medical advancements, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of heart failure experience preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a clinical consultant or training role, specifically with ventricular assist devices.
• Strong clinical background, with OR experience and advanced clinical skills.
• Deep knowledge of ventricular assist devices, cardiac anatomy, and cardiovascular care.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to simplify complex medical concepts.
• Excellent organizational, follow-up, and attention to detail skills.
• Proficient in computer literacy.
• Customer-oriented with a focus on delivering top-notch support and training.
