Job Summary
BrioHealth Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Strategic Sourcing to join our dynamic team. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee the entire supply chain process, from sourcing and procurement to supplier management and logistics. Your expertise will drive cost-effectiveness, operational efficiency, and supplier optimization, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality products to our customers. Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and conduct thorough market analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define procurement requirements and specifications.
Supplier Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly and address any issues or concerns.
Contract Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure legal compliance, risk mitigation, and optimal terms.
- Monitor contract compliance and enforce contractual obligations throughout the procurement process.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to manage contract documentation and approvals.
Procurement Process Enhancement
- Continuously analyze and improve the procurement process for efficiency, accuracy, and cost reduction.
- Implement best practices, standard operating procedures, and procurement guidelines.
- Provide a rolling forecast on a regular basis to manufacturing to ensure customer needs are met.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in procurement technology.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with various departments, including Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Operations, IT, and Manufacturing, to understand their procurement needs and align strategies.
- Work closely with Marketing, Clinical, R&D, Training and Education among other disciplines to determine their forecasted product requirements to provide demand to manufacturing.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collect and analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and potential risks. Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for management, highlighting key performance metrics and insights.
- Create an S&OP process and provide regular reports to senior management showing actual shipment to forecasted products.
Other
- Manage the warehouse staff to ensure receipt and delivery of products including management of customs activities.
- Provide direction to Procurement staff to ensure company goals are met.
- Mentor and develop Procurement staff toward professional growth.
- Accept other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
- Act as the liaison between BrioHealth Solutions and our outside legal counsel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology work experience is highly preferred
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects and negotiations.
- Strong understanding of procurement regulations, legal requirements, and contract management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- trong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
- Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, or CPM are a plus.
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
