Job Summary
Briohealth Solutions is seeking a Training and Education Instructional Designer to play a key role in developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training programs for our internal teams and external stakeholders. This role requires a combination of instructional design expertise, effective communication skills, and a passion for enhancing the knowledge and skills of our corporate learner audience.
Responsibilities
- Create visually engaging and interactive training content including graphic design production involving internal corporate and customer initiatives to effectively educate the target audience.
- Develop, implement, and manage training programs for Briohealth Solutions' products, addressing the needs of internal teams and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals.
- Develop and maintain content in/for a Learning Management System (LMS), to fulfill learning objectives while ensuring learner accessibility and usability.
- Create live and online, virtual and Instructor led training and education programs, ensuring a professional, high quality, consistent learning experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, Sales, and Marketing, to align training programs with product developments, regulatory guidelines, and market trends and with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop targeted programs to address those gaps.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using a multifaceted approach including feedback, assessments, and metrics.
- Develop and maintain a continuous improvement program to optimize training and education quality outcomes.
- Work directly with the Training and Education Director on corporate educational initiatives to address unmet corporate educational needs.
- Work directly with the Training and Education Director on budget and resource needs.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams and external partners on training-related matters.
- Participate in continuing education programs targeted towards industry advancements, emerging technologies, educational methodologies and trends to enhance the training curriculum.
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design and delivery, with a focus on training and education.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the medical device industry.
- Understanding of cardiovascular concepts and care.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS) – Absorb LMS experience preferred.
- Proficiency in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with database design, maintenance, and navigation to manage a growing inventory of materials.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex and engaging concepts visually and clearly.
- Detail and solution-oriented approach.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
