Brisa is benad new restaurant coming to little Italy. We will feature Latin American cuisine with an Asian fusion.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive outstanding hospitality throughout their visit. Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests' tables.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables after guests leave.
- Process cash handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Utilize OpenTable for reservations and table management when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is essential.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.92 - $19.41 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
