Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. As an FNP, you will work in a collaborative environment within a Level I or Level II Trauma Center, ensuring high-quality patient care and support.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Provide primary care services, including diagnosis and treatment of common health issues.
- Administer injections and perform catheter care as required.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Utilize eClinicalWorks for electronic health record management and documentation.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Participate in occupational health assessments and initiatives as needed.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Skills
- Proficient in using eClinicalWorks for patient management.
- Strong understanding of primary care practices and procedures.
- Experience in catheter care and administering injections is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of occupational health principles is a plus.
- Ability to lift patients safely when necessary.
- Familiarity with the operations within a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to provide compassionate care while managing diverse patient populations.
