We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) with wound care expertise to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide specialized wound care to patients in various settings, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in wound care management, including assessment, treatment, and the prevention of complex wounds such as diabetic ulcers, pressure sores, and surgical wounds.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, treat, and manage complex wounds, including pressure sores, diabetic ulcers, burns, surgical wounds, and skin tears.
- Clean and dress wounds using appropriate techniques and materials.
- Educate patients and caregivers on proper wound care practices to promote healing and prevent infection.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and positive patient outcomes.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
Qualifications:
- Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANP, AGNP, FNP, ENP, or ACNP)
- Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Highly recommended certifications (WCC, CWON, or CWS)
- One year of direct wound care experience
- At least one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Prefer experience in Wound Care, Home Care, Emergency Department or Intensive Care Units Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
