Bristol Adult Resource Center (BARC) has an open per diem/on call position for a reliable maintenance worker to undertake the upkeep and repair tasks at the interior or exterior of our facilities that are all located in Bristol, CT.
Must be at least 18-years old with a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record going back three years and have reliable transportation.
Requirements and Skills:
- Make minor repairs throughout the buildings and residential homes of the agency.
- Complete routine/basic maintenance as needed.
- Complete small jobs such as assembling and moving of items/furniture, cleaning tasks, painting, etc.
- Shop for items needed to complete tasks.
- Proven experience as a handyperson.
- Must be well-organized with strong general repair skills.
- Able to work with little to no supervision and good communication skills.
- Well-organized and able to manage time effectively.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
