What are the responsibilities and job description for the CHAP Assistant Manager position at Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation?
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Provide leadership and administrative support for the Community Health Aide/Practitioner Program. Surveys village clinics for compliance with daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly quality checks. Provides daily administrative support to the CHA/Ps in the region. Provides advice to CHAP management regarding conduct of village clinic business and of CHA/Ps. Maintain CHAP databases as assigned.

- Ability to travel to the clinics when necessary.
- Ability to travel to village clinics biannually for site visits that may last several days.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail required.
- Ability to follow directions and multitask is essential.
- Ability to work independently.
- Previous supervisor experience and strong supervisory skills required.
- Able to effectively use English for both written and verbal communication.
- Dependable, and maintains confidentiality.
- Familiarity with the electronic health record and eCHAM/iCHAM preferred.
- Attendance and punctuality are required.
