What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Transport Driver position at Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation?
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: This position provides approved transportation services to elders, patients, and beneficiaries in accordance with BBAHC's mission and directives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid Alaska Driver's License, with satisfactory driving history to qualify for company insurance. Class A CDL preferred.
- Two (2) years professional driving experience. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within ninety (90) days of hire.
- Will be required to sign a release annually for BBAHC to obtain a current driving record.
- Must have a clean driving record as defined by BBAHC's insurance requirements.
