CCI Engineering & Construction Services, LLC is expanding its workforce and is seeking an Engineering Intern to support design and consulting, provide quality assurance, and provide detailing for building projects of all types. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the full development cycle and capable of collaborating with multi-discipline teams to ensure design meet quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.

This position is based out of Arlington, TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.

This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and loud noise.

This position is based out of Arlington, TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, model, and analyze mechanical systems using Revit Software
- Support the design and quality assessment of electrical systems
- Develop the design of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems, including HVAC and plumbing design calculations
- Perform field inspections, job site visits, and inspection reports on a periodic basis as needed
- Maintain and foster relationships with existing clients on any projects they have been assigned which includes meeting all client requirements and deadlines
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, designers, and departments to ensure design feasibility and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Mentoring and fostering the growth of up-and-coming engineers and associates
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Engineering in Training (EIT) certification in the state of Tennessee
- Proven experience as an EIT (2 years minimum)
- Proficiency in Revit Software
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
