Position Summary:
The Director, Global Commercial Strategy, Cardiovascular will play a versatile and dynamic role, engaging with both early and late asset projects, specifically supporting MYK 224, Milvexian and business development. This global strategic marketing position offers the opportunity to be a key member of the development team, contribute to alliance commercialization strategy, and gain exposure to business development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The individual will work on both early asset (MYK 224) and late asset (Milvexian) projects as well as business development as needed contributing to their development and commercialization strategies.

  • Enhance the partnership with our Alliance partner to develop robust commercialization strategies, maximizing Milvexian's potential value for prioritized indications.

  • Establishing critical value drivers for commercialization success, including competitive framing, pan-indication strategy, and market development.

  • Serve as the commercial point for a key region, completing commercial assessments and go-to-market planning.

  • Excellence in collaboration, communication, and leadership skills is essential to effectively engage with the alliance partner, R&D, local market teams, Medical, Market Access, Business Insights and Analytics, Payer/HEOR, and Manufacturing/Supply Chain.

  • Serve as a key commercial member of the MYK 224 Development team, representing the products' interests from a commercial perspective, and be the expert on market dynamics, treatment and competitive landscape, and access considerations to inform drug development and drive asset value.

  • Identify and develop strategic relationships with advocacy organizations, medical societies, and thought leaders in collaboration with Advocacy and Medical leads and communicate the commercial case and brand strategy to senior leadership, ensuring successful transitions at key stage gates.

Key Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • BA/BS required; MBA / graduate degree preferred.  

  • Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical experience commercial experience with prior experience across products in various stages of development, from pipeline to launch to in-market.

  • Translates brand evidence into brand strategy to maximize go to market planning

  • Builds a deep understanding of local market dynamics, including customer and competitive insights, and growth opportunities to drive local market execution

  • Collaborates across the organization to incorporate the needs of internal and external stakeholders in the commercial planning process

  • Partners with Discovery, R&D, Business Development, Medical, Market Access, CI, BI&T to identify & assess potential BD opportunities and actionable plans to formulate commercial opportunity assessment and valuation recommendation

  • Monitors competitive data and events, identifying emerging trends that could impact the brand, and understanding implications to integrate disease area strategy, brand strategy and business development opportunities

  • Partners with WW Value, Access, and Pricing team as needed to enhance the value story

  • Contributes to business opportunity evaluation and forecast preparation

  • Effectively partners alliance for milvexian pan-indication strategy ensuring rigor in marketing excellence to drive development of long-term commercialization plan

  • Partners with global supply organization to ensure timely availability of drug supply at launch

  • Proven excellence in collaboration, communication, and leadership skills, along with a strong understanding of market dynamics, treatment landscapes, and access considerations, is required.

  • Experience in developing and executing commercialization strategies in a global context is essential.
