We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Global Compliance Specialist. As a key member of our Compliance and Ethics organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our business operates in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
About the Role
This role will involve working closely with senior leaders across various departments to develop and implement compliance strategies. You will have a strong understanding of policy development, training design, and cultural initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be able to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner, both written and verbally. They will also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Development: Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance policies and procedures.
- Culture Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement culture initiatives that promote a compliant and ethical work environment.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on compliance issues and trends, providing recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree appreciated but not necessary.
- Experience: 8-12 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare-related compliance or legal experience, with at least 3 years of experience in policy development.
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of relevant US pharmaceutical compliance guidelines, regulations (AKS, FCA, FDCA, HIPAA, FCPA) and PhRMA Code principles.
