Job Description Summary:                                                                                       

The Materials Management Associate will perform materials management activities across the site, including warehouse, inventory management, transporting material, shipping/receiving, and cycle counting. Primary support will be to the Single Use Facility Manufacturing Teams.

Responsibilities:

• Performs material handling activities, including material receipt, storage and transfers, to GMP manufacturing facility and finished product from production to interim storage (cold and frozen storage).
• Performs/Oversees raw material inspection and sampling.
• Works on routine assignments per written procedures with little or no instruction, where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
• Adheres to good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
• Completes GMP forms and/or batch records as required for material receiving, shipping activities.
• Reviews work throughout the process and at completion, in order to ensure that it has been performed properly.
• Plans/organizes work to ensure that activities are performed effectively, and to respond to fluctuating workloads.
• Ability learn to drive forklifts up to 30’ (operator goes up with the load) and drive company box truck onsite. (No CDL required).
• Wears the Proper PPE to handle hazardous materials throughout the site.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to adhere to gowning procedures.
• Must have valid Driver’s License
• Hours Mon-Fri 8am-4pm

BMS has a diverse occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture. For field-based and remote-by-design roles the ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.
