What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Affairs Director position at Bristol-Myers Squibb?
Our company's vision is to transform patients' lives through science. As a Medical Affairs Director, you will play a critical role in advancing this vision by providing deep disease state knowledge in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, leadership, and direction to the US Medical team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac imaging and clinical cardiology, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the field. You will work closely with the medical matrix and Regional Echo Liaisons to focus on strategy, planning, development, and implementation of the US medical plan. This role requires excellent analytical skills, the ability to identify and understand complex issues, and the capacity to lead and manage a complex project team.
You will support the execution of the US medical plan, aligning with US Commercialization (USC) and WW Medical (WWM) strategies. You will also oversee a field team of sonographers, identify US medical data generation strategies, and collaborate with Medical Evidence Generation (MEG) to execute Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) programs. Additionally, you will work with the Executive Director on various projects, providing independent thought and initiative in the further development of specific projects and ensuing presentations and status updates.
