Salary Range : $22.00 Hourly
NON-CERTIFIED
Hours : 8 : 30am to 2 : 00pm
Description
Bristol Public School is participating in the LEAP program to address and improve students' attendance through a personal connection at our schools and in turn improve student outcomes. The BPS Non-Certified LEAP Engagement Specialists will :
Complete LEAP 101 training.
Maintain an active caseload of families engaged in the LEAP process, including scheduling and completing home visits, documenting visits in the electronic Home Visitor log, meet bi-weekly with the LEAP Coordinator.
Deliver LEAP materials and district information; engage families with various topics and opportunities available through the district
Make phone calls to identified students / families, with the intent of building healthy relationships with the student and families to improve attendance, removal of barriers that prevent the student from attending school or succeeding in school in general. The project will track contact made with each student and their family and its success. This position will work closely with school and district attendance team leads.
