Certification Details

- 36/48 schedule
- Every other weekend, rotating holidays
- No On Call
- Floating to other units required
- 2 years of experience
- First time travelers accepted
- Previous Charge Experience Preferred
- ALL TRAVELERS MUST LIVE 100 MILES FROM THE FACILITY
- General orientation will begin on Sundays
- Sunday will be online CBLs
- 16 hours of nonbillable orientation
- Hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty from the employed 36/36 or 36/48 schedule if there is a decrease in census
- Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease/decreased resource need without penalty
- Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession
- The clinical nursing student education responsibility is expected in addition to/alongside the provision of clinical care practice in every nursing specialty at Ballad Health.
