What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Brite Laundry Center?
Apprentice position. Right candidate to train with our retiring employee (40 years experience) We are a very busy laundry center in Williamsport & Lock Haven looking for a thorough Part-time Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility of trouble shooting & fixing equipment. Hours are flexible - approximately 5-10 hrs a week. Flexible training hours weekly with our tech.
Responsibilities
- Repair & Maintain Commercial grade Dexter Washing Machines & Dryers.
- Service 2 locations (Williamsport 90% hours) & Lock Haven 10% hour)
- Basic repair & upkeep of facilities, grounds.
- Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, lights, etc.).
- Conduct general upkeep procedures.
- Coordinate additional work with sub-contractors when work is out-of-scope.
- Trouble shooting Cable TV, Internet & Computer Card Center a plus.
Skills
Proven experience as maintenance technician
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and other systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Reliable, dependable & enjoys working with general public.
