Responsibilities:
_ Attend to the needs of infants ages 4 months to 15 months
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
Skills:
- Experience working with young students in a preschool or daycare setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Special education experience is a plus
- Ability to incorporate physical education activities into daily routines
- Strong literacy education skills to promote language development
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of individual students
- Knowledge of Minimum Standards for Infants a plus
