What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Demand Generation Manager position at Brite?
About Brite
We are on a mission to empower Insurance Brokers and Employers with the tools required to ensure that every employee understands their benefits.
We believe that the future of benefits education lives at the intersection of efficiency and engagement. To this end, we are building a "whole-book" platform that automates Broker workflows for creating a superior education experience for their employer clients. Brokers that use Brite spend an average of 84% less time per Open Enrollment benefit guide and their clients' employees are twice as confident in their understanding of their benefits compared to incumbent resources (paper guides, PDFs, Powerpoints).
About The Role
We have ambitious goals for 2025 and beyond, and as Senior Demand Generation Manager, you will play a central role in making them happen by owning the pipeline number that drives revenue growth.
We're looking for someone who knows they cannot simply “run the playbook” from their last company. You will need to be capable of building from a clean slate in a scrappy manner—using rapid experimentation across multiple channels to identify and scale the most effective growth strategies for engaging insurance brokers, HR leaders, and enterprise buyers. You will need to be well-written and results-driven with the leadership skills to potentially build and inspire a high-performing team as we hit our goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a demand generation strategy to meet pipeline and revenue targets you will help set.
- Obsess over measurement, learning, and continuous iteration to refine marketing strategies, doubling down on what works and scrapping what doesn't.
- Be a financially responsible steward of a lean marketing budget that will grow as you prove out effective channels.
- Do what is necessary to assess the effectiveness of your experimentation efforts–whether it's writing your own SQL queries, conducting analyses in Excel or Google Sheets, reviewing email replies, listening to sales calls, etc.
- Drive multi-persona marketing strategies that align with complex sales cycles.
- Implement ABM programs to support high-value enterprise deals and expansion opportunities.
- Lead an internal transformation that evolves processes to ensure Product, Customer Success, and Sales collaborate effectively with the Marketing function.
- Take ownership and execute—you're setting up, launching, and optimizing campaigns daily.
- Further refine Brite's perspectives on whom we are selling to and the problems they are paying us to solve.
- Showcase our wins to engage our audience and highlight the value we bring to top brokers and enterprises.
- Assume your seat at the table as a key strategic leader of both our company and the Marketing team.
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in demand generation & growth marketing, with a proven track record of delivering on pipeline goals.
- Data-driven and results-focused, with a strong sense of urgency to meet targets.
- Background in selling to technical audiences (Health Insurance-focused experience is a plus).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You’ll regularly write copy for marketing campaigns and communicate your ideas and updates across the organization.
- A mix of startup and larger company experience, with the ability to scale marketing from early stages.
- Strong emotional intelligence (EQ) to navigate the ambiguity and pressure that comes with working at an early-stage startup.
