What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduling Coordinator position at Britin LLC?
This individual will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining schedules for FirstLight Home Care clients and staff. Other contributions will include general office support, on-call duties and client care, as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand and adhere to established FirstLight Home Care policies and procedures.
- Schedule client visits according to Service Plan and staff availability.
- Communicate to supervisor staffing needs and levels to ensure proper coverage for all clients.
- Enter scheduling data, create and release monthly schedules for all assigned care staff.
- Maintain absence and attendance reports.
- Contact providers and clients regarding day to day changes to visit schedule and care.
- Discern client services required as outlined in agreements, urgent requests and support/service plans.
- Enter new staff and client information to record software, updating information as needed to ensure accuracy.
- Perform general office duties including but not limited to answering phones, data entry, filing/shredding, reception area coverage, light office cleaning, copies/scanning and any other office tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Participate in the after hours, weekend and on-call rotation to handle emergencies, scheduling issues and referrals/intake. Perform client care visits during call as required.
- Participate in quality improvement activities
Perform caregiver introductions and training, as assigned.
