Overview
A lovely family of four in Edinburg,TX is seeking a fantastic live-in or live-out nanny to assist with their 5 and 2 year-old children. The desired schedule for this role is Saturday and Sunday, and three weekdays from 3-9pm. Potential days off could be Thursday/Friday or Monday/Tuesday. The family is able to offer separate accommodations for the right candidate, a casita with a bedroom, bathroom, and a small living space. The family needs a nanny to start in August, but is open to the right person starting earlier. The family is happy to help with relocation within Texas!
Responsibilities
- All aspects of childcare including overseeing meal, sleep, and hygiene routines
- Providing an enriching environment and planning age-appropriate activities and outings
- Working as a team with a SAHM
- Assisting in the kitchen (mom prepares most meals)
- Family and children's laundry
- Keeping the children's and common areas tidy throughout the day
- Traveling approximately 3-4 times per year, both domestically and internationally
Qualifications
- Team player, willing to work with an involved SAHM
- Proactive but also willing to take direction
- Great communicator
- Adaptable and flexible, but able to maintain a schedule with the children
- Engaging and active; able to keep up with two busy children
Requirements
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
- The ability to swim and supervise children in the pool and ocean
- US work authorization
Salary and Benefits
- $25-35/hr.
