Overview
A lovely family in Weston, outside of Boston, is seeking a fantastic career nanny to assist with their new baby, due in July. The schedule for this role is Tuesday through Saturday, 11am-9pm with some flexibility for date nights. This position is live-out, but the family is happy to relocate the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- All aspects of care for a newborn, including managing sleep and feeding schedules
- Creating a soothing environment for the baby
- Knowledgeable about infant and childhood development- aware of stages and proactive about keeping the parents informed
- Preparing food for the baby as they grow
- Planning developmentally appropriate activities and outings
- Working as a team with a very involved SAHM
Qualifications
- Team mentality
- Flexibility as the parents figure out what works best for them
- Extensive infant and toddler experience
- Relaxed, with a soothing presence in the home
- Loving and warm
- Great communication skills
Requirements
- A driver's license and clean driving record is required
- The ability to swim is not required but would be a bonus
- US work authorization
- Comfortable working around a small dog
- Willing to travel with the family for up to two weeks, including to a second home in Miami
- Basic infant vaccines including Tdap, flu, and Covid
Salary and Benefits
- $30-35/hr.
