Overview
A family in Greenwich, CT is seeking a wonderful, experienced, full-time, live-in housekeeper and are open to a candidate relocating for this role. The proposed schedule is Tuesday morning through Sunday morning (10am or earlier- candidate will be off on Sundays) for about 50 hours per week. The daily schedule can be from 10am-8pm, or an earlier start time with some time off during the day, but they do need someone until 8pm. The role is 80-90% housekeeping/house management and 10-15% light errands and light meal prep. They have 3 sons (ages 14, 12, and 10) and 1 cat in the home. Home is approximately 7,000 sq. ft. with 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms (1 guest bedroom is not used regularly).
Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning
- Laundry and ironing
- Help with light meal prep or entertaining prep
- Run errands (dry cleaning, groceries, child pick ups/drop offs)
- Manage household supplies, including organization and restocking
- Be proficient in specialty cleaning procedures and products for items like limestone, silver, etc.
- Minimal pet care
Requirements
- Experienced, especially in a high-end home
- Careful and detail-oriented
- A licensed driver with a clean driving record
- Not allergic to cats
Salary and Benefits
