Overview
A kind and welcoming family in Bronxville, New York is seeking a live-in or live-out housekeeper/nanny to care for their home, with some hours allocated to their two children, ages 5-years-old and 8-years-old. The schedule will typically be four longer days, Tuesday through Friday with a guarantee of at least 40 hours per week. Some weeks the family will ask the candidate to work a fifth day with notice. The family will go through the monthly calendar in advance so the candidate has notice about any schedule changes. The posiiton is only live-in during shift (Tuesday-Friday) and candidate must have their own separate housing when "off." They are ideally looking to hire sooner rather than later.
Responsibilities
- Light cooking, mix of both child and family cooking
- Childcare of two sweet girls who are in school most days. The majority of childcare will be in the afternoon/evenings tag teaming with a stay-at-home-mom to divide and conquer driving, homework, dinner, and bedtime. There will be some sole care if the parents go out at night
- Making beds, vacuuming, family laundry (including very occasional ironing of children's clothes such as dresses), taking out trash, loading and unloading dishwasher, keeping the kitchen and common areas tidy, and taking on organizing projects throughout the house (pantry, garage, etc.). There is a cleaning team for deep cleaning once a week.

Requirements
- Able to travel to the Hamptons for the month of August; the same schedule will be in place with the candidate arriving Tuesday morning and going home Friday night
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record; car will be provided for any work related driving
- Legal to work in the US
- Experience as a nanny and happy to do some housekeeping
- Commuting distance from Bronxvile. This position is NOT open to relocation candidates
Salary and Benefits
$35-40 per hour plus applicable overtime
