Overview
A very private family in the Bay area, CA is seeking a full-time ROTA nanny to help with their two toddler-aged children. The typical schedule will be 24/7 with a monitor, seven days on/off rotational between two nannies. When the family is traveling, the length of time can change, depending on whether they are domestic or international, so someone with flexibility and understanding is key! While the candidate is working, they will be a live-in, within the home, with a private bedroom and bathroom. Live out while off shift. The family prefers someone who is already local to the Bay Area. The family is looking to fill this role as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Normal daily functions of caring for a child
- Cleaning up after the children
- Meal prep/errands
- Travel planning, packing for trips
- Facilitating and arranging playdates and activities
- Driving to/from activities
- Making sure children are hitting all of the appropriate milestones
- Researching age-appropriate milestones to assist with furthering children's development
Qualifications
- Highly communicative
- Self-driven
- High-energy
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to grow with the family as they grow in the future
- Background in child psychology or early childhood education is a huge plus!
- Experience with toddlers and babies, and familiarity with child development stages and milestones.
- Experience with live in/ROTA/Long hour schedules, good stamina to be active with younger kids
- Familiarity with using technology platforms for communication, logging, and tracking milestones.
- Preference of previously working in structured setting- (reports to manager, principals, family office. comfortable with organization, familiar with processes and procedures)
- At least one full-time nanny position for 4 years
Requirements
- Must be legal to work in the US
- Valid and clean driver's license
- Passport ready to travel
- Trustline Certified
- Fully vaccinated
- Able to swim
- Must live within a 2 hour drive max of the bay area. Proof of permanent residency will be required with a lease or license.
