Overview
A busy family on the Upper East Side is looking for a live-in weekend nanny. The hours are 6pm Friday through 6pm Sunday. The candidate must be able to join the family for Summers in Connecticut and the Hamptons. In each location, candidates will have their own bedroom and bathroom. The parents both work outside of the home and have 3 children, ages 6, 8, and a newborn. Initial responsibilities will be for the two older children, as there is a newborn care specialist for the baby. The family has a housekeeper three times per week, however, this candidate will also need to assist with daily cleaning and organization.
Responsibilities
- Executing daily routine for children including dressing, handling meals, and taking to activities
- General cleaning, tidying, organization, and laundry
- Schedule and take to play-dates and activities
- Child-related errands
- Meal prep and cooking for family as schedule permits
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Active, kind, and friendly demeanor
- Longevity and excellent references from prior roles
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Your own car is not required
- Must be legal to work in the U.S.
- Able to swim
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally with family
- Able to live in CT and the Hamptons during the summer months
Salary and Benefits
$40-$45 per hour based on experience
