Overview
A quiet, loving, bilingual family in Rye, NY is looking for a full-time nanny. Hours would be 8:30am through 5:30pm, Monday though Friday. The family have a three-year-old son and a six-month-old son. The Mother stays home and is Japanese speaking and the father works outside the home. They have a full-time housekeeper.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to;
- Provide all aspects of childcare while creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for son and baby
- Assist with the morning routine and driving son to and from school and additional activities; Japanese school, park, etc.
- The caregiver should practice common sense and take initiative to accomplish tasks and make decisions
- They will also be required to maintain communication with the parents and work well with the Mother and as part of a team
- Maintain a clean and tidy area for children to play and learn inclusive of children's laundry
Qualifications
- Assist with meal and meal prep as time and ability allows
- Experience with multilple children under 4 years old
- Excellent references from current and previous employers
Requirements
- Native English speaking
- Ability to swim
- Valid and clean Driver's license
- Legal to work in US
Salary and Benefits
- Compensation for this role does depend on experience and ranges from $35-$40 per hour plus some benefits
