Overview
A wonderful family of 3 in the Pacific Heights area of San Francisco, CA is seeking a full-time chef. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday, around 10am/11am-6pm/7pm, 40 hours per week guaranteed. They request 2 meals to be cooked in their residence daily, typically lunch and dinner, with breakfasts prepped for mornings. There are no dietary restrictions or allergies, and overall, they enjoy all cuisines and high-quality ingredient-forward meals.
Responsibilities
- Cooking lunch and dinner on site for the principals and toddler. The principal’s parents frequently visit for extended periods, so must be comfortable cooking for additional people during those times
- Grocery shopping and restocking of the pantry
- Making a menu for the week when requested
- Preparing breakfasts and snacks to be left in the fridge
- Grocery shopping for the family, and keeping the pantry and fridge stocked and organized
- Maintaining a tidy and organized kitchen
- Working flexible hours on occasion if the family has an event
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate is warm and family-friendly
- Team player and good communicator
- Familiar with many cuisines and sourcing fresh ingredients
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- The family has one toddler and another baby on the way, so someone comfortable with kids is a must
- Must be legal to work in the US
