Overview

A lovely family of four in San Francisco, CA is seeking a part-time housekeeper to start this month or next. The ideal schedule is Tuesday/Thursday, 8am-4pm, for 16 hours per week guaranteed, but the family is flexible on the days and schedule for the right candidate! The family has two young children, no childcare is needed but the candidate must be comfortable around kids and willing to become TrustLine Registered. The family is looking for someone proactive, experienced, and able to be dialed in to what is needed around the house.

Responsibilities

  • Vacuuming/dusting
  • Cleaning kitchen
  • Grocery shopping
  • Deep-cleaning bathrooms
  • Washing and ironing linens
  • Making beds
  • Laundry
  • Maintaining organization of pantry and closets
  • Keeping inventory of stock and replacing when time permits
  • Watering plants

Qualifications

  • Proactive- able to see what needs to be done and do it
  • Does not need a ton of direction- self-starter
  • Cares about doing a good job
  • Not super rigid, "part of the family" feel
  • Light cooking and meal prep a huge bonus, but not required
  • Open to running necessary errands when time permits

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a housekeeper
  • Clear criminal background check required
  • Must be Trustline registered, or willing to register, as there are young kids in the home
  • Honest, trustworthy, reliable
  • Hard working- has a good work ethic
  • Detail-oriented and able to leave spaces tidy, organized, and clean

Salary and Benefits

  • Hourly rate is $35-$40
  • Standard benefits offered, prorated to part-time
