Drum Teacher
The British International School of Houston is seeking a drum teacher to join our private music teaching program to teach individual lessons during the school day. There could are also opportunities to be involved with extra-curricular groups. The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
- The ability to demonstrate high levels of musicianship and knowledge of your specialist instrument
- The ability and passion to enthuse, engage and motivate children and young people of all musical abilities and backgrounds
- Have experience of, and enthusiasm for teaching beginner to advanced instrumentalists
- The ability to plan and deliver high quality, enjoyable lessons which demonstrate that every students musical skills and knowledge progress each term
- The ability to maintain high professional standards at all times including excellent timekeeping, timesheet and register administration, clear and timely communication with the school, parents and students.
PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
- Comply with The British International School of Houston policies and regulations.
- Maintains control of storage and use of school property.
- Cooperate with co-workers and staff.
- Relate positively to parents and community.
