Role Overview: Make an Impact Through Aquatics Leadership
The Aquatics Manager at British Swim School is a growth-driven leader dedicated to ensuring every individual has the opportunity to become a safe and happy swimmer. You will hire, train, mentor, and supervise a team of swim instructors while maintaining program integrity, safety standards, and an excellent customer experience. This role is perfect for someone passionate about swimming, leadership, and working with children.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, energetic, and organized, with strong leadership and customer service skills. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our classes are engaging, effective, and aligned with our survival-first, learn-to-swim-second philosophy.
Responsibilities
Aquatics training & classes
- Lead, train, mentor, and develop a dynamic team of swim instructors.
- Oversee day-to-day aquatics operations, ensuring adherence to British Swim School’s curriculum, safety protocols, and brand standards.
- Create and manage instructor schedules, ensuring class coverage.
- Actively engage in water instruction to take classes.
- Must be available for weekends, evenings, and flexible scheduling.
- Conduct regular class observations to maintain a high-quality learning environment.
- Enforce safety protocols, including pool maintenance, lifeguard availability, and emergency response.
- Address and document employee or customer concerns and maintain clear communication with leadership
Customer Engagement & Retention
- Serve as the point of contact for parents and customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
- Engage with students and families to ensure a fun and positive experience.
- Conduct regular progress evaluations and facilitate student move-ups.
- Oversee customer retention efforts, ensuring students progress effectively through the program.
- Work closely with the Franchise Owner to analyze performance, optimize scheduling, and enhance revenue.
- Participate in corporate training and franchise-wide initiatives.
- Follow up and follow through activities with all prospective clients
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Franchise Owner.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Complete corporate training and certification and be able to train instructors
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.

Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) is a plus(preferred)
