Aquatics Manager

ResponsibilitiesAquatics training & classes

• Lead, train, mentor, and develop a dynamic team of swim instructors.
• Conduct initial and ongoing training in British Swim School’s unique swim curriculum.
• Provide real-time coaching & performance reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
• Organize and lead monthly in-service meetings to reinforce curriculum, safety, and teaching techniques.
• Create and manage instructor schedules, ensuring class coverage.
• Actively engage in water instruction to take classes.

Operational Excellence & Safety Compliance

• Oversee day-to-day aquatics operations, ensuring adherence to British Swim School’s curriculum, safety protocols, and brand standards.
• Conduct regular class observations to maintain a high-quality learning environment.
• Enforce safety protocols, including pool maintenance, lifeguard training, and emergency response.
• Track and ensure all instructors' certifications (Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, CPO) are current.
• Address and document employee or customer concerns and maintain clear communication with leadership.

Customer Engagement & Retention

• Serve as the point of contact for parents and customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
• Engage with students and families to ensure a fun and positive experience.
• Conduct regular progress evaluations and facilitate student move-ups.
• Oversee customer retention efforts, ensuring students progress effectively through the program.

Business Development

• Work closely with the Franchise Owner to analyze performance, optimize scheduling, and enhance revenue.
• Manage new customer acquisition, class enrollment, and retention efforts.
• Plan and lead marketing initiatives to promote programs and build community engagement.
• Participate in corporate training and franchise-wide initiatives.
• Experience identifying, driving sales and conducting sales events to add new memberships
• Ability to hire part-timers to drive sales events
• Follow up and follow through activities with all prospective clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.06 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
