British Swim School of Greater El Cajon is looking for enthusiastic and reliable swim instructors to join our team. We provide lifesaving swim lessons for children and adults, focusing on water safety and confidence-building. No prior swim teaching experience is required—we provide comprehensive, paid training to prepare you for success.
We are expanding our swim programs and looking for dedicated instructors available for weekday afternoons and weekends at both our El Cajon and Santee locations.
We are also seeking instructors who have experience working with children and adults with special needs.

What You’ll Do:
- Teach swim lessons to children and adults following the British Swim School curriculum
- Work with students of all abilities, including those with special needs
- Create a fun and safe learning environment while building students’ confidence in the water
- Engage with students and parents to provide encouragement and progress updates
- Work a flexible schedule, including afternoons and weekends
- Be in the water for the duration of your shift and maintain high energy levels
Who We’re Looking For:
- Fun, energetic, and reliable individuals
- Comfortable in and around water (strong swimming skills are helpful but not required)
- Excellent communication skills—able to work with children and families
- Responsible and punctual—our families depend on us!
- Available to work at least two shifts per week
Preferred but NOT required:
- Experience working with children (teaching, coaching, babysitting, etc.)
- Experience working with individuals with special needs
- Lifeguarding, First Aid, or CPR/AED certification (preferred but not required)
