The Position:
The Aquatics Manager position with British Swim School is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the aquatics program and customer service interactions. Priorities include ensuring the British Swim School program is delivered according to brand and safety standards, instructor team management, initial and ongoing training, customer conversations as well as teaching lessons when and if necessary. This position will also require due diligence with tracking required certifications for instructors as well as continuing the employee's development and competency and skills.

Ability to work out of multiple locations in the Greater Sugar Land (Richmond, Sugarland, Missouri City)
Locations include LA Fitness-Aliana (19409 W Bellfort St, Richmond, TX 77407) and LA Fitness-Sienna (9026 Sienna Crossing Dr, Missouri City, TX 77459).
Your Typical Responsibilities:
- Teaching the British Swim School program curriculum to children and adults as the Lead Instructor.
- Providing the initial training in the BSS swim method and the ongoing development of all our swim teachers.
- Evaluating swim instructor performance and creating performance improvement plans as necessary.
- Interview, hire, onboard, and manage employees to maintain a smooth execution of daily aquatics and service operations.
- Creation of employee schedules, and pool lesson schedules.
- Address and document employee, customer, and pool incidents that occur.
- Assist with sales and retention of customers
- Assist with customer service.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Experience and enjoyment working with children
- Lifeguard certification is required but if not available or expired, will be provided
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 years of customer service and/or management experience.
- Experience in swimming and fitness teaching/management is preferred. A specialist aquatics qualification is desirable, but not required.
- Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid Certifications, may be obtained during training.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
