British Swim School is seeking fun, reliable, upbeat and charismatic people to be part of our Swim Instructors/Coaches Team.
We are located at the LA Fitness in Oak Lawn on 95th St.
As a British Swim School instructor (coach), you are responsible for teaching children and adults to become safe swimmers in a fun environment, regardless of age or ability. You do this by following the British Swim School approved teaching curriculum. This curriculum ensures that each student in our program initially learns water survival skills and then progresses to propulsion and stroke development.
It is your responsibility to convey British Swim School philosophy (paid training is provided), and to ensure that all students feel safe and and have fun while you are conducting lessons.

Responsibilities
- Stay current on relative information including engaging in ongoing training of BSS methodology and curriculum.
- Coordinate, and implement student learning plans
- Provide a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Review performance and identify areas of opportunity to maximize effectiveness
Qualifications

- Outstanding organizational skills and high attention to detail
Special Requirements:
Swim Instructors must be willing to work holidays, and weekends as required by business needs and as requested by management. We operate year-round in indoor heated pools. This is not a seasonal position.
