ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
This role is part of Operations Finance
The role is responsible for transforming data to insights and challenging the status quo to join our Operations Finance team to support our business sustainability and value leadership objectives. We are seeking a leader that thrives at structured critical thinking, problem-solving, synthesizing ideas, written and verbal communication including executive presentation skills.
Reynolds American Incorporated (RAI) is positively transforming the tobacco industry and Operations Finance will play a fundamental role in unlocking value in support of our corporate strategy and transformation journey. This Director role will business partner across the operations and commercial teams, translating data/knowledge into insights, strategies, and actions, acting as a quarterback for the business team to drive long term sustainable margin growth.

Reporting Level: 4 Team Members

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Partner with multiple senior stakeholders and provide strategic and financial guidance to cross functional business partners.
- Present and communicate to senior stakeholders forecasts, performance and potential risks/opportunities of financial performance.
- Provide stakeholders with meaningful analytics and insights regarding spend, cost of sales, capital expenditures and working capital.
- Provide leadership and coordination to drive continuous improvement in processes and efficiency within the Operations Finance Team.
- Coach, mentor and develop the team, providing career development planning and opportunities.
- Driving ad-hoc projects as required.

- Do you have experience in a business partnering Finance role supporting operations or commercial functions?
- Do you have experience in developing high performing teams?
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Proven track record of developing and delivering on complex commercial and corporate finance strategies
- 8-10 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Accounting or relevant area
- Experience in developing and leading cross functional teams
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to articulate financial strategy, results, and forecasts
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills – presentation to senior management team
- Demonstrate strategic and innovative thinking with strong influencing and leadership skills
- Ability to effectively work in a fast-pace and ambiguous environment
- Ability to prioritize projects, budgets and team capacity to effectively deliver insights
- Ability to tailor communication relative to the style and needs of others
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related area
BENEFICIAL
- CPA, MBA, MAC or international equivalent
- Experience in Operations or Supply Chain Finance
- Experience in FMCG with multiple categories
