Britt Medical Search is seeking a skilled nurse practitioner to join our team in central Iowa. As a nurse practitioner in our multi-specialty clinic, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining medical histories, performing physical exams, providing initial emergency care, ordering lab tests and x-rays, prescribing medications, providing patient education and counseling, and forming diagnoses and administering treatment in accordance with protocols and established standards.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must have completion of a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited institution, licensure in the State of Iowa as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, previous PA/NP experience in a clinic practice (preferred), understanding of the PA/NP scope of practice, and BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 4 months of hire date).
