Seeking Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join Worcester, MA practice as a primary care provider and APP Trainer. The APP Trainer will work in a hybrid role that will include training newly hired Advanced Practice Providers while also providing medical services for patients. The APP Trainer is a member of the clinical practice team and works collaboratively with other team members in providing patient care. This is a full-time role that will include 20 hours of direct patient care and 20 hours of APP support, training, education, and professional development.
Training Responsibilities :
- Train one to two new Advanced Practice Providers (APP) defined as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant who has been hired in the last two years.
- All new-hire APP charts are reviewed by the APP Trainer for the first month of their employment. Afterwards, the APP Trainer continues to review a pre-determined
number of approximately ten APP charts monthly.
