Seeking a qualified BE / BC General Cardiologist to join talented team!
- Group has been providing exemplary cardiac care and services for patients of Somerset County and beyond for more than 30 years.
- The department currently employees three full time cardiologists, two of which are non-invasive cardiology and one physician who is interventional cardiology.
- There are two physician assistants currently at the practice, one full-time and one part-time, with a third full-time position in process of being added due to volume increase.
- An EP also sees patients at the clinic one day per week and performs procedures at hospital. The practice runs a pacemaker clinic once weekly.
- The practice is located directly across the street from hospital allowing for very easy access for going between the inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Non-invasive cardiologists rotate weekly between inpatient and outpatient services and are supplemented by the physician assistants.
- Hospital services consist of rounding / consults, TEE procedures, stress tests, echoes, and EKGs.
- Medical call is divided among the non-invasive cardiologists with some supplementation by locums for weekend coverage.
- Physician assistants provide some weekend rounding as well.
- The interventional cardiologist is well-known throughout the region for his exemplary care and has been with the practice since .
