What are the responsibilities and job description for the Neonatology Nurse Practitioner position at Britt Medical Search?
National practice of Neonatologists and Pediatric Specialists is looking for an NNP to join team in Albuquerque, NM.
- Level 3 NICU with about 3,000 deliveries
- Facility is licensed for 50 beds but the daily census ranges widely from 15-25.
- Take care of all gestational ages, but no surgery or ECMO.
- All ventilatory modes are represented and the facility does have nitric oxide.
- Providers get called to high risk deliveries but not necessarily every c-section.
- Newborn nursery coverage as well.
- Can work extra shifts in the newborn nursery or in the NICU for additional pay if desired.
- Part-time or full-time available
- Seven 24 hr shifts will be considered full time with the ability to do extra or bundle shifts.
- Delivery attendance
- Day-to-day management of NICU
- Participate in multi-disciplinary rounds to provide collaborative, team-based care of NICU patients including but not limited to ventilator management, nutrition management, lab review, and meeting with families
- Newborn nursery coverage
- Sign on and relocation if full time, along with a full benefits package which includes, medical/dental/life/short and long term life insurances, HSA benefits, and a 401K
