What will you be doing?
As a Bartender / Snack Shop Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, providing excellent service to our guests, maintaining a clean workspace, and other related duties. This role will be available part-time during the second week of March with additional hours becoming available later into the season.
Bartender / Snack Shop Attendant responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Greet guests politely and enthusiastically and provide excellent customer service
- Meets and exceeds all aspects of the overall guest experience and provides the highest level of service at all times
- Prepare and serve smoothies, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, snack items, and other refreshments
- Takes orders from customers and serves highly crafted cocktails and other beverages as well as a full bar menu in a discreet, professional and unobtrusive manner
- Checks with customers to ensure they are enjoying their meals / drinks and correct any problem to ensure guest happiness
- Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to kitchen for cleaning
- Answers guest questions about food, beverages and our facilities accurately and in a friendly manner
- Must be fully knowledgeable of the entire food and drink menu
- Discerns guests’ moods and accommodates their preferences and requests
- Completes opening and closing side-work and deep-cleaning as assigned
- Responsible for accurate and efficient set up and breakdown for bar operations
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the service area
- Maintain a stocked and clean work area
- Change trash receptacles and take trash to designated area
- Other duties as assigned
