What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Manager position at Brittain Resorts & Hotels?
- Maintains a working knowledge of all available facilities, amenities, attractions, and services in the area, both public and private, to effectively educate prospective clients and acts as liaison between these entities and the client.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals
- Analyze sales data and trends to provide insights and make data-driven decision
- Manage key customer accounts and build strong relationships
- Identify new business opportunities and drive business development initiatives
- Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals
- Maintain all internet generated leads, create and execute group contracts and proposals
- Compile and generate monthly reports
- Participate in required sales and marketing meetings
- Work closely with the Area General Manager on Sales objectives and strategies
- Other duties as assigned.
- Proven experience in sales, account management, and business development
- Experience in the Wholesale and SMERF market segments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in analyzing sales data to drive performance improvements
- Familiarity with technical sales processes
- Experience in outside sales is advantageous
- Experience with Salesforce a plus
Education: College degree in business management, hotel management, or marketing preferable. Successful 3 years hospitality within sales or combination of education and experience.
Communication: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace and by guests who frequently visit the workplace.
Experience: Previous hotel-related experience, sales management experience in hotel or service industry, experience in budgeting and business planning.
Technological: Must be competent in computer skills (Internet, Microsoft office applications). Background in automated sales office systems is helpful.
A track record of successful customer service and business relationships.
