As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll support pharmacy operations by processing prescriptions, assisting with medication dispensing, and managing formularies. Responsibilities :
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will :
- Process Prescriptions : Accurately process prescription orders, verify patient and insurance information, and ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements.
- Dispense Medications : Prepare and dispense medications according to prescriptions, ensuring proper labeling and packaging for safe distribution.
- Support Formulary Management : Maintain and update formulary records under the guidance of the pharmacy leadership team and optimize formulary processes to meet client needs.
- Manage Inventory : Monitor stock levels, ensure proper medication storage, and manage expiration dates to minimize waste.
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service : Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy, collaborating with healthcare providers and insurers to resolve prescription-related issues.
- Ensure Quality and Accuracy : Adhere to operating procedures, participate in quality control measures, and assist with audits to maintain the highest standards of safety and accuracy.
