Marketing Associate

At Brixmor Property Group, we strive to create shopping centers that connect with and serve their communities. Block 59 is a new restaurant and entertainment district currently under development as part of the open-air retail center Westridge Court located at the corner of Route 59 and Aurora Avenue in Naperville, a Chicago suburban neighborhood. 

Position Overview:

Join us in creating a vibrant community hub at Block 59, where your marketing efforts will directly contribute to bringing people together and supporting national, regional and local businesses. As a Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive consumer awareness, increase traffic and boost sales for the shopping center’s tenants. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in launching a new retail project and building a comprehensive marketing program that integrates Block 59 into the Naperville community. 

Key responsibilities:

• Event Planning: Plan and execute events and promotions that attract and engage consumers. 
• Community Engagement: Establish collaborative relationships with local community groups.
• Content Management: Manage all center communications, including content creation, scheduling and engagement, for customer newsletters, blog posts, social media channels and website.
• Campaign Creation: Develop and implement marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, social media, email, and print.
• Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and report on results. 

This position will office at Block 59 with direct reporting to the Consumer Marketing Manager and indirect reporting to the center’s property manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in shopping center or retail environment.   Local knowledge is a plus. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools, email marketing).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Brixmor offers a hybrid work schedule (first three days of the week in the office, the balance remote optional), very competitive pay commensurate with background and responsibilities plus a benefits and perks package that supports career engagement, growth, good health and connection with teammates and our communities.

The base salary range for this position has been established as $60,000-$65,000 PLUS participation in our annual cash bonus plan. This salary range represents the Company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
