Job Overview: Brixton Protective Services is seeking reliable and professional Unarmed Security Guards to join our team in two part-time roles. One position involves working Monday and Tuesday from 8:00pm to 6:00am, and the other requires Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00pm to 5:00am. We are also hiring for an on-call and event staffing position, with hours that may vary based on event scheduling and coverage needs.

MONDAY/TUESDAY 8:00PM TO 6:00AM
WEDNESDAY/THURSDAY 9:00PM TO 5:00AM
ON CALL AND EVENT STAFFING (VARIES)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional and visible presence to ensure safety and deter potential threats.
• Perform walking patrols of the assigned premises to monitor activity and identify potential security risks.
• Adhere to site-specific protocols and company policies.
• Respond promptly to incidents, provide assistance as needed, and document all activities accurately in daily reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, teammates, and site personnel.
• Build and maintain a team-oriented environment to uphold Brixton Protective Services' commitment to excellence.

Requirements:

• Must have all required certifications, including Powers to Arrest and 32 hours of additional training, as applicable under state regulations.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Hold a valid security guard license or permit (as required by state law).
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during the shift.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Must be a team player, reliable, and punctual.
• Available to work the required schedule (Monday and Tuesday from 8:00pm to 6:00am or Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00pm to 5:00am).
• On-call and event staffing hours may vary based on the needs of the company.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in security or a related field is a plus.
• Familiarity with basic security equipment and emergency protocols.

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $19.00 - $21.00, based on experience.
• Weekly pay for all hours worked.

Additional Information:

• Light-duty gear is required for this position.
• Walking patrols are a core responsibility.
