Responsibilities and duties
- Ability to communicate with different departments efficiently with no less than a 24-hour turnaround time
- Experience with construction permitting is preferred
- Submit Building permit applications as needed
- Track status of permits
- Primary responsibility will be to maintain permits up to date including acquiring any needed permits and processing annual renewals
- Secondarily, this position will assist administrators in handling all aspects of the permits
- Support operations
- Ensure regulatory permits and conditions are met for continued project, permitting and reporting
- Reclamation activities – work with operations to ensure proper reconstruction activities are complying
- Provide information and answers to staff, management, and field operations
Qualifications and skills
- 1-2 years’ relative office or clerical experience required
- 1-2 years relative work experience in general construction
- Experience working with permits required
- Must have a working knowledge of information systems
- Ability to follow process within strict deadlines
- Experience working with public entities all over the country in maintaining all permits up to date including yearly renewals of all permits
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills required

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
