Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer with 8 years of professional design experience to join our creative team. The ideal candidate is a visionary designer with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in branding, digital design, and print media. You will play a key role in leading design projects, mentoring junior designers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality creative work that aligns with our clients' goals and brand identities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the conceptualization and execution of design projects, including branding, web design, social media graphics, digital display and HTML5 ads, print collateral, and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (account managers, copywriters, developers, videographers, etc.) to deliver cohesive and innovative solutions.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines for clients, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Present design concepts to clients and internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and finalize deliverables.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas and best practices to the team.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
Qualifications:
- Hybrid position but must live in Charlotte to work in the office 3 days a week.
- 8 years of professional design experience, preferably in an agency environment.
- A BFA or BA in graphic design or a related field is preferred.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in branding, digital design, and print media.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
- Experience with web design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD) and a basic understanding of UX/UI principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership experience or a demonstrated ability to mentor and inspire team members.
- A passion for creativity, innovation, and delivering exceptional design solutions.
